Quilting Class

Hey everyone. Just a little note to update you all on our latest quilting class. We had a wonderful time! Lots of sharing, laughter, oh and sewing too. Our class was on the Seminol Patchwork Technique. It's lots of fun with all kinds of possibilities! I'll try to get some pictures uploaded soon. We also decided our next class will be on the 9th of Nov and we're going to do a Quilted Christmas Tabletopper. Just in time for the Holidays. Give me a call at the shop if you're interested. Hello Sue! I had a great time Monday! I hope to finish the Seminole patchwork soon. Got so many UFO's in line to be completed right now, the Seminole will have to wait! Please sign me up for the table topper class on Nov. 9. Sally

That was a great class on the SIMINOLE PATCHWORK. I plan to work on it until I finish the top. HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Your local friendly sewing and quilting source. Feel free to come by, sit a spell and have a cup of coffee while looking through our multitude of magazines for some inspiration or ideas. We've got lots of NEW fabric, as well as over 1,200 bolts of other fabric to choose from, and we good new fabric in from throughout the US weekly. We carry oodles of notions, special rulers, scissors, specialty tools, and lots lots more, including our magazine library. We carry embroidery quilt squares and floss, stencils for all you wonderful hand quilters, and many quilt books and patterns. We also offer machine quilting and weekly Quilting classes (pre-registration required for scheduling).

We have several ladies that come in and sew on Mondays and Thursdays - why dont' you come join them? They're fantastic gals, I know you'll like them and enjoy their wealth of information, as well as the like-minded company. You'll just have to come in and check us out!!!!

STORE HOURS for 3rd wk of Aug - June:

Mon - Fri 10:00 am to 2:20 pm and 4:15 pm - 5:15 pm
Sat. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sun: CLOSED

Summer STORE HOURS for June - 2nd wk of Aug.:
Mon - Fri 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sat 10:00 amd to 3 pm
Sun: CLOSED

Just in case you were wondering about the store hours gap, I drive a bus for the local school district, so it's necessary to close from 2:20 to 4:15 daily, as well as some Saturdays for school trips. It's best to call ahead if you'd like to stop by on a Saturday, if you're not local.
