Christmas is a comin'

Hope everyone was able to stop by for our Customer Appreciation Days. We had a good turnout. There were 3 lucky winners from the Christmas Gift drawings, they were Ginny McFarland, Sandy Henderson & Mrs. Campbell. I hope they like thier gifts.

With the nights getting longer and the crazy weather getting ready to set in, we don't think its a good idea to schedule any classes. We'd like to get at least one class together for Jan though, so if you all are intersted, call the shop and lets get it scheduled early.

Christmas Holiday Schedule: The shop will be closed for Christmas break 22 - 27 December then will re-open 28-30 Dec, closed for New years Holiday, 31 Dec - 3 Jan, open again Jan 4th and back to the regular schedule, weather permitting. Probably a real good idea to call first if the weather is bad. If school is closed, so am I.

Thanks to all who continue to come in and support Quilters Corner. We couldn't do it without you. Oh, I'd like to welcome a new friend from Vibernum, MO. Hey Judith! Thanks so much for your support!!!!!

Merry Christmas!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I can't believe it came and went in the blink of an eye! Now everyone will be focused on Christmas. We don't have any classes scheduled right now - everyone is so busy and the weather is getting colder and no one wants to be out at night right now. But if you are interested in classes, please call the Quilters Corner and maybe we can have just one more class before Christmas. Our last class was the Christmas table topper designed by Stephanie Lee. We had so many interested, we had 3 separate classes (about 12 people in all). I'll try to get a picture on here for you all.

I've been adding magazines and books to our quilters library so all can browse them for ideas. Come on in and check them out.

Merry Christmas to you all. My prayer for all is that Christmas is celebrated for it's true meaning and families will come together to cherish each other and realize each one of us is a gift from God. May God bless you all this year at Christmas.

Goings On

Hey everyone! Hope all had a safe and Happy Halloween. Boy, time flys. Now it's time to prepare for Thanksgiving and before you know it, Christmas will be here. Just a reminder, we are still having quilt class. In fact we've had such a great turnout for our Christmas Tabletopper, we had to split the class. So now we're having 2 classes. We will still have the one on the 9th of Nov, but we're adding one on the 16th now. Those of you who've signed up, may want to contact me so we can verify your class date.

Also, I have a big trip coming up. I was lucky enough to be able to drive the Bus for the Cross Country Team to go to the State Meet. So the shop will be closed Friday, Nov 6th, but Andrea will be here Sat Nov 7th, to open up. Come on by and see her.

Also, a little outstide the quilting world, but we're having a card class here on the 10th of Nov. I do believe it's Stampin' Up. Brandy Boyer is the instructor and she's REALLY good. I've seen lots of her work. It'll be great to get those cards made up early.

Handmade from the Heart is the best!!!

Quilting Class

Hey everyone. Just a little note to update you all on our latest quilting class. We had a wonderful time! Lots of sharing, laughter, oh and sewing too. Our class was on the Seminol Patchwork Technique. It's lots of fun with all kinds of possibilities! I'll try to get some pictures uploaded soon. We also decided our next class will be on the 9th of Nov and we're going to do a Quilted Christmas Tabletopper. Just in time for the Holidays. Give me a call at the shop if you're interested. It should be a good time. It'll make a great Christmas gift for someone on your christmas list!! Hope to hear from you! Sue

Welcome...

Hi, everyone...I send out a warm welcome to all who've stopped by. We've had so many requests for online communication, that I decided to start this blog. It's new to me, so please bare with me, but I think it's going ok and will be fun. Right now, I don't know how often I'll update things or post, but hopefully I'll be able to do it at least once a week. Also, if we're fixin' to have a sale, I'll post it here in advance to let everyone know the deals they can get. Some of you are from out of town/state, welcome, and please feel free to give me a call or comment on anything I post, I welcome your input, questions, comments, and replies. If I can help, I will gladly do so, and if for some reason I don't know something, I'll help you find the answer to your question. Thanks again, for stopping by, and don't forget to click the 'follow me' tab at the right, it's a perfect way to see who all's interested and how many people my blog touches.
